The Pussycat Dolls have announced they are getting back together and are going on tour — but without Melody Thornton. The band will make their comeback during a performance on The X Factor: Celebrity this weekend. The American girl group and dance ensemble, were founded in Los Angeles, California, by choreographer Robin Antin in as a burlesque troupe. In the 00s they quickly becoming known for their chart-topping songs when they moved from a dance group to a music franchise. Although Carmit Bachar originally split from the group in to pursue a solo career — one year before the band announced a hiatus followed by an official break-up — the singer is back with the band now for their reunion.
